Rhea was our Featured Speaker in 2007 and we are thrilled to have her back to celebrate our 40th Anniversary with us. Rhea is an active keynote and conference speaker who has a passion to see women experience the freedom and power found only in Jesus Christ. She enjoys sharing the love of Christ and watching women be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Rhea married her best friend, David and as the proud parents of seven children, David and Rhea enjoy ministering together in their home, at their church and at conferences and retreats. Rhea draws from experiences of God’s faithfulness in painful times and uses His word to minister the love of Christ to others. God uses her words to remind us of His “treasures of darkness” as He summons each of us by name. Isaiah 45:3

After singing in a regional Christian group for nearly a decade, Sarah had just finished her debut solo CD entitled Gratitude when her life was turned upside down. On October 7, 2007, she and Chad, her husband of fifteen years, were running in the Chicago Marathon when he collapsed and went to be with the Lord. She looks back on that as the darkest day of her life. Not surprisingly, God has used music to carry Sarah along through the dark days ahead. Her CDs, Christmas in Heaven and The Long October Road, were inspired by her journal and open the window on a widow’s journey.
In 2009 Sarah remarried; the mental and emotional abuse began immediately, and though the physical abuse was not frequent, it intensified over time. The marriage ended after fourteen months, but the healing for Sarah and her three children has taken time. Her CD, Sunshine Lane, recorded late in 2011, was birthed out of the wonderful place of healing to which God had brought them. In her blog, Sarah writes, “I fall more deeply in love with Jesus every day because more and more in my life I continue to learn that He is a constant. Once again, through trial and struggle, our life changed drastically. Our God…NEVER changes. There is such total peace in knowing that.”
After being forced to take a time out for rest and recuperation due to a series of physical illnesses in 2012, Sarah is excited to be back in full swing with concerts and events. In April, 2013, Sunshine Lane will finally be officially released.
